Deming’s work has been one of the most prolific works in the field of quality management.
The basic premise of Deming's cycle, cover basic concepts that apply to all organisations, these are:
1. ACT - Decide that something needs to be altered in your work place, and make a decision to bring about an improvement.
2. PLAN - How are you going to look at the problem?
3. DO - Carry out the research.
4. STUDY - Review the results, and see if it achieves what you were aiming to do, if not go back to step one.
