Balance Portfolio

We have already stated that different people will behave independently when making investment decisions.

If an individual is a serious investor in shares they will undoubtedly hold investments in several company shares. The entire collection of shares is phrased as being a portfolio.

If someone is motivated by taking on shares with a high risk factor for a greater return they will undoubtedly hold an aggressive portfolio. If someone is more concerned about taking on fewer risks with a lower return then they will hold a defensive portfolio.

The most successful investment portfolio's are not either aggressive or defensive portfolios, but rather a combination of high and low risk. If you are serious about investing, choose a mixture of shares to ensure a stable return.
